Common mistakes

The root ends in و or ي, and the endings themselves change. Three patterns cover it: دَعَا يَدْعُو, رَمَى يَرْمِي and نَسِيَ يَنْسَى.

• صَلَّوَ → صَلَّى Past: he
• صَلَّوَتْ → صَلَّتْ Past: she
• صَلَّوْتَ → صَلَّيْتَ Past: you (m.)
• صَلَّوْتُ → صَلَّيْتُ Past: I
