Common mistakes

The root ends in و or ي, and the endings themselves change. Three patterns cover it: دَعَا يَدْعُو, رَمَى يَرْمِي and نَسِيَ يَنْسَى.

• نَسِيُوا → نَسُوا Past: they (m.)
• يَنْسَيُ → يَنْسَى Present: he
• أَنْسَيُ → أَنْسَى Present: I
• يَنْسَيُونَ → يَنْسَوْنَ Present: they (m.)
