Common mistakes

The root begins with و. In the present it drops out entirely: وَصَلَ becomes يَصِلُ, and the imperative is simply صِلْ.

• يَوْزِنُ → يَزِنُ Present: he
• أَوْزِنُ → أَزِنُ Present: I
• يَوْزِنُونَ → يَزِنُونَ Present: they (m.)
• تَوْزِنِينَ → تَزِنِينَ Present: you (f.)
