مَاتَ conjugation

to die · Hollow root · Form I · م و ت · intransitive

Common mistakes

The middle radical is و or ي. It stretches into a long vowel: قَالَ: and shortens before a consonant ending and in the jussive: قُلْتُ, لَمْ يَقُلْ.
