Introduction

This privacy policy explains how Flugzeugfilter: Flugzeugtyp processes personal data when you use the app.

What Data We Collect

Device identifier
A pseudonymous identifier generated by the analytics SDK in the app. No account, name, flight search, route or aircraft preference is attached. The Safari extension sends nothing.
Purpose: Measure anonymous product usage and purchase conversion.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Data Retention: According to the configured analytics retention period.
Product interaction
Anonymous app events: app lifecycle, completed introduction, the first time the Safari extension reports to the app (with a rough time since installation), the first time a rule differs from neutral (without which manufacturer or model), a rough number of new searches the extension reported since the app was last opened, whether the app is unlocked, and purchase page display. Flight searches, routes, aircraft types, your rules and your search history are never sent.
Purpose: Find out whether people manage the Safari setup and improve the setup guide and the paid offer.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Data Retention: According to the configured analytics retention period.
Purchase history
Product identifier, price, and currency after a verified one-time purchase.
Purpose: Measure paywall-to-purchase conversion.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Data Retention: According to the configured analytics retention period.
Feedback content
The category and message a user voluntarily submits, plus app version, build, language, and source screen. The form asks users not to enter personal data or booking details.
Purpose: Understand and resolve product problems and requests.
Legal basis: Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Data Retention: Until the feedback has been evaluated or deletion is requested.

Your rules, the unlock status and the list of your last ten filtered searches (route, time and number of matching connections) are stored only on your iPhone, shared between the app and its Safari extension. The Safari extension reads aircraft types that Google Flights already shows on the page and makes no network requests of its own. We have no server and no access to your searches. Deleting the app deletes this data.
