Set up your cat
Enter your cat's name, then the vet plan: insulin, shot times and the units your vet prescribed. Type the number or use minus and plus. Glucat starts at zero and never suggests a dose.
Glucat: Cat Diabetes Journal
Glucat is a journal for people who give their diabetic cat insulin as prescribed by their vet. Log each shot with the meal, the reading and the injection site, see at a glance whether today's shot is done, and bring a PDF report to the vet check.
Enter your cat's name, then the vet plan: insulin, shot times and the units your vet prescribed. Type the number or use minus and plus. Glucat starts at zero and never suggests a dose.
On Today, tap "Log shot" on the card for that shot time. Record the meal, how much your cat ate, an optional reading, the units given or why no shot was given, and the injection site.
Each shot time shows as open, given or not given. If a shot for that time is already logged, Glucat shows it before anything else, so nobody gives it twice by accident.
After a vet check, open the vet plan on Today or in the Cat tab and tap "Change plan". The old plan stays in the history and in reports. "Insulin paused by vet" records a pause.
In Curves, tap "Vet report", choose 7, 14 or 30 days or a start date, and share the PDF by mail, AirDrop or print. CSV export is next to it.
Logging, reminders and the last 14 days are free. Glucat Full is a one-time purchase for the vet report, CSV export, the full history, longer charts and more cats. No subscription. On another device use "Restore purchase" in the Cat tab.
Glucat never calculates, suggests or changes an insulin dose. It does not rate readings and gives no diagnosis. It is not a medical device and does not replace your vet. If you are worried about your cat, call your vet or an emergency clinic.
Glucat has no account and no cloud. Your journal stays on your iPhone; reports and CSV files leave it only when you share them. The app sends anonymous usage counts without names, readings, doses or notes.
Glucat: Diabetes bei Katzen ist ein Tagebuch für Halter diabetischer Katzen. Du trägst ein, was dein Tierarzt verordnet hat und was du gegeben hast; die App berechnet oder empfiehlt nie eine Dosis.
